Russ Baldani, Partner

Russ Baldani, the senior partner in Baldani, Rowland & Richardson, has dedicated over thirty years as a practicing attorney to representing people accused of crimes in the state and federal courts of Kentucky.

As a felony court public defender, Russ gained extensive trial experience that paved the way for his private practice. He tried dozens of cases, the most noteworthy of which was Commonwealth v. LaFonda Fay Foster. Along with a co-defendant, Fay was charged with shooting, stabbing and running over five people in 1986. It was the biggest murder case in Fayette County history, and the Commonwealth sought the death penalty. Continue reading…


Michael P. Rowland, Partner

Michael Rowland is a skilled attorney who focuses on criminal law, personal injury, auto accident cases, and family law issues such as divorce, child custody, child support, and cases involving the Department of Social Services. He holds bar admissions in Kentucky, the Eastern District of Kentucky, and the United States District Court.

Michael graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.A. and marketing and subsequently received his Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky as well. He is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, the Kentucky Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Fayette County Bar association where he is the chair of the Criminal Justice Section and a member of the Domestic Relations Section.


Tucker Richardson, Founding Member and Managing Partner

Randolph Tucker Richardson, III, is a founding member of the law firm of Baldani, Rowland and Richardson established in 1988. He practices in all areas of state and federal criminal defense, from capital murder defense to DUI defense. He also practices in personal injury and automobile accident cases.

Tucker Richardson wins Martindale-Hubbard AV award.

In 1988 Tucker was admitted to the Kentucky Bar Association and United States District Court for both the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. He was also admitted to the United States Supreme Court in 1994. Continue reading…

Brandi Lewis is a native of London Kentucky. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.A. in Psychology in 1999 and earned her Juris Doctorate from Salmon P. Chase College of Law, at Northern Kentucky University, in 2003. Continue reading…

Abe Mashni, Associate

Abe Mashni is a native of Lexington, Kentucky. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Kentucky with a B.A. in Political Science and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Law. While at UK College of Law, he served as the Treasurer for the Trial Advocacy Board and was granted a limited practice license from the Kentucky Supreme Court and the Kentucky Bar Admissions.

While in law school, Abe worked at the Fayette County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office. He was tasked with the responsibility of arguing multiple hearings on the Commonwealth’s behalf and even served as first-chair prosecuting a felony trial. As a result of this experience, Abe has intimate knowledge of how prosecutors and law enforcement officers will develop and prosecute your criminal case. Continue reading…
